Dang meets more than revenue target

TULASIPUR: Tulsipur Municipality Office has collected Rs. 28.3 million revenue under different heads in the 11th month of the current fiscal year. Last year in the corresponding period, it had collected Rs 21 million.

Executive Officer of the Municipality, Bharat Raj Sharma said the Municipality had collected only Rs. 7.3 million in the corresponding period last fiscal year.

Implementation of integrated property tax, determination of local administration and the rise in the awareness level of residents are the reasons for revenue collection.
