Enterprise event

KATHMANDU: Bhoomi Food Products, Customised Furniture, Eminence Ways, Source Code and The Physique Workshop have been selected for the Enterprise programme.

Enterprise — the first business accelerator of its kind operated by private sector in Nepal — aims to help Nepali firms that have been in existence for at least three years fine-tune their business models, raise funds from investors, and move to the next level of business growth.

Starting this week, the participating companies will attend sessions and workshops on several business topics over the course of 12 weeks. The programme will culminate on Demo Day in mid-November where the entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas to investors to raise money to scale-up their business, as per a press statement.

This programme is funded and managed by True North Associates, a private equity firm which invests in growth stage companies. The programme has been initiated by Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum in partnership with Ronnie K Irani Centre for Creation of Economic Wealth (I-CCEW) at the University of Oklahoma.

For the third batch, Enterprise has collaborated with Shikhar Insurance as the insurance partner and NMB Bank as the banking partner.
