Entrepreneurs adjudged best at the three-day long cottage industry exhibition and fair were awarded with cash prize and certificates here on Sunday.

Products of over 25 local cottage and small industries were put on display in the exhibition organised by Nepal Cottage and Small Industries Association, Udaypur.

Urmila Rai, Brahma Chaudhary, Satyanarayan Chaudhary, Chandra Bahadur BK, Memsari Rai, Prem Kumari Rai and Gyanu Shrestha were awarded for hosiery, food, herbs, metalwork, Dhaka weaving, sewing-cutting and miscellaneous categories, respectively. Such fairs encourage the local entrepreneurs and promote the local products.
