BHARATPUR: Inland Revenue office of Bharatpur has arrested four entrepreneurs on charges of evading tax. According to Shyam Prasad Pokharel, chief at the office, taxes amounting to Rs 2,400,000 was fixed for industries and businesses. Rs 1,200,000 was levied on a single industry, while taxes ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1,000,000 were fixed for other entrepreneurs. The office has not made the names of the industries and entrepreneurs public. —RSS
