Kathmandu, October 1:

Fishtail Air Pvt Ltd has purchased an AS 350B helicopter from Eurocopter South East Asia, Singapore.

Now Fish Tail Air has two copters — a Bell 206B3 and an AS 350B. With two helicopters in its fleet, Fishtail Air Pvt Ltd will now be able to extend better, more reliable and prompt services to its clients.

The AS 350 B helicopter is a popular machine, very versatile and well-suited to the mountainous terrain of Nepal.

According to a press release, the main features of the AS 350B helicopter are fail- safe design, comfortable seating arrangements, five passenger seats and ability to land at an altitude of 16,000 feet.

In collaboration with Explore Himalaya Travel and Adventure Pvt Ltd, Fishtail air plans to conduct skydiving events in Syangboche area soon. This sport is going to be introduced in Nepal for the first time.
