KATHMANDU: Flydubai recently hosted its key travel agents and partners at an event in Nepal. More than 150 guests, including government officials and members of the travel industry, gathered for the event. “Kathmandu was the 11th destination we launched in 2009. Since the start of our services we have seen continued demand for flights and we have grown our operations to four flights a day. Following the recent devastating earthquake faced by the country and with the focus on reconstruction this event provided the opportunity, in a small way, to thank and show our support to our travel partners who have been an integral part of our growth in this market,” a statement issued on Thursday quoted Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president commercial (GCC, Subcontinent, Africa) for flydubai, as saying. At the event, certificates of recognition were presented to 10 of flydubai’s top performing agents who were recognised for their support and excellence.
