FNCCI delegation in Beijing

Kathmandu, July 22 :

A delegation of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is in Beijing to take part in a preparatory meeting for the upcoming 9th meeting of Nepal-China Non-Governmental Cooperation Forum.

The FNCCI delegation, led by its president Chandi Raj Dhakal along with second vice-president Kush Kumar Joshi and director general Badra Prasad Ojha, will discuss date and venue for the upcoming meeting with All China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), states a press release issued by FNCCI today. Sun Xiaohua, vice-president of ACFIC, will lead the Chinese delegation in the meeting, which will fix the date and venue of the Nepal-China forum meeting, scheduled for November this year in Nepal.

According to FNCCI, the Nepali delegation will also ask Chinese entrepreneurs and ndustrialists for expansion of Chinese investment in Nepal.

The FNCCI team will request the Chinese business community to extend business activities as well as investment in Nepal, especially in the changed political context following the popular movement.
