FNCCI for calling off industrial bandh

KATHMANDU; The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged the All Nepal Trade Union Federation not to close down factories and industries on March 29.

The All Nepal Trade Union Federation has called the strike to protest the murder of its central member Ramayodhi Yadhav, who was shot dead on March 26 in Siraha's Rampurbirta VDC.

Issuing a press release here today, the umbrella organisation of the Nepali private sector condemned the murder of All Nepal Trade Union Federation ‘s central member Yadhav.

It also assured of pressurising the government for quick and strict action against the culprits.

FNCCI also appealed to the All Nepal Trade Union Federation not to shut down industries since such a bandh will only affect the general people and the domestic economy instead of criminals.

FNCCI’s plea comes at a time when industries across the nation are reeling under power-cut.
