KATHMANDU: September marks the 12th annual Ford Global Caring Month and thousands of Ford employees around the world — collectively known as the ‘Ford Volunteer Corps’ — will be venturing out into their communities to make people’s lives better.

In Nepal, 40 Ford volunteers from GO Ford Nepal, together with Round Table Nepal, provided service support and organised a series of activities to create an equal opportunity for students to acquire education and basic sanitation knowledge, as per a press statement. During September, more than 30,000 Ford volunteers will tackle more than 600 projects with thousands of volunteers on six continents.
