KATHMANDU: Many cases related to foreign employment frauds do not reach the Foreign Employment Tribunal (FET), if data related to this kind of fraud registered with the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) in 2015-16 fiscal year is anything to go by. According to the DoFE, of the total 2,117 cases of foreign employment frauds filed against manpower companies or agents (1,503 against manpower agencies and 671 against agents) in the fiscal year 2015-16, only 220 cases have been registered with the tribunal (218 against agents and two against manpower companies).
