KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank, has directed all foreign exchange (forex) service providers to submit their monthly reports to the central bank via online.

Issuing a notice on Monday, NRB asked all financial institutions, remittance companies, money changers, cargo companies, travel and trek companies, among other firms that provide foreign exchange service to present monthly transaction report after mid-April through online.

NRB has said that online reporting of foreign exchange transactions to the central bank will simplify the process of submitting forex-related documents and also ensure accountability.
