KATHMANDU: The government is presenting the economic survey depicting the entire economic indicators and aspects of the current fiscal year in the Legislature-Parliament meeting on Thursday.

Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is scheduled to present the survey at the Parliament on Thursday, said Assistant Spokesperson at the Parliament Secretariat, Sudarshan Kuikel.

The survey also reviews faults found in implementation of the policy and programmes and budget of the current fiscal year and indentifies the challenges.

The government is announcing the budget for the coming fiscal year on May 28 as per the constitutional provision.

According to the parliament secretariat, various bills including Banking (Crime and Punishment) First Amendment-2071 would also be presented in the Parliament.
