Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that the government will adopt policies to boost the morale of the private sector and encourage investment.

In a meeting on Tuesday with the office-bearers of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the development of the country hinges on promoting and expanding the private sector.

PM Oli also clarified that the new government will adopt policies to facilitate and encourage entrepreneurs.

According to a press statement issued by the FNCCI, Prime Minister Oli expressed commitment to taking special initiatives for the advancement of the private sector, recognizing its crucial role in improving the economy. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the FNCCI delegation led by President Chandra Prasad Dhakal highlighted the importance of regulatory bodies related to business and enterprises coordinating effectively and promoting investment.

The delegation suggested that an Economic Reforms Commission or another mechanism involving the private sector, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, was necessary to enhance economic growth.
