KATHMANDU:

Gurkha Development Bank (GDB) has started its evening counter from today at its corporate office at Putalisadak, Kathmandu. The bank has earned an operating profit of Rs 30 million during the fiscal year 2006-07, while its total deposit touched Rs 1.43 billion, states a press release. GDB’s total loan and advances stood at 1.25 billion. The development bank has the authorised capital of Rs 640 million.
