Hetauda to have second industrial area

HETAUDA: A new industrial area would be established in Mayurdham of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, better known as the industrial estate of the country.

A technical survey has already begun to set up the new area in 135 hectares of public land located between the then Churiyamai and Padam Pokhari, seven kilometres south of Hetauda bazar.

The technical study would look into matters like the ownership of the land, water, power, telephone, roads and the feasibility of establishing the industrial zone, said Nanda Kishore Basnet, Chair and General Manager of the Industrial Area Management Limited.
