Kolachapati at LDC

KATHMANDU: As per the ministerial level decision of January 8, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), on Thursday, appointed Hemant Raj Kolachapati as a member of Lumbini Development Council (LDC) as per Clause 8 (1) (e) and (f) of Lumbini Development Trust Act (1985) for a period of five years as per Clause 9 (1) of the act.

LDC is an apex body of Lumbini Development Trust tasked with formulating policy to fulfil objectives of the Trust and for giving necessary guidance and directives to the board of trustees. According to MoCTCA, Kolachapati has also been appointed as a member of executive committee (board of trustees), as per Clause 11 (A) (1) (d) of the same act.

The committee shall run all activities of the Trust, remaining under general supervision of the Council, as per the act. Kolachapati is the executive director of Yeti Holidays, one of Nepal’s leading travel agencies and package tour providers.
