Land price ups in Dadeldhura
DADELDHURA: Unbelievable, the price of a ropani of land in Dadeldhura district headquarters is more than Rs 20 million — leaving the capital and other main cities far behind in terms of money value.
Chief of the District Survey Office of Dadeldhura Kanti Kumar Gupta said the price of land has skyrocketed in the district headquarters more than in the capital and main cities like Chitwan, Birgunj and others. Price of land
has been increasing continuously as the district is a
commercial centre of the Far-Western region.
Dadeldhura chairman of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries Deepak Bohara said the price of land in adjoining areas also is high. Former chairman of Dadeldhura’s FNCCI chapter Kali Prasad Joshi said no land plots are available in Doti Rumours that the city will become the hub of federal states spurred prices. Owing to paucity of land in the district headquarters, people have started purchasing land in adjoining villages of the municipality. Arable land of the previous Ghatal Panchayat has ben earmarked for selling in the district.
