KATHMANDU: Laxmi Bank and Axis Bank India have signed an agreement to promote pre-paid cards, which can be used to send money to Nepal from India and visitors can use it while visiting other countries too.

As per the pact, people can send money to their account in Laxmi Bank from any branch of Axis in India. As per a press release issued by Laxmi Bank, Nepali citizens who are in India can send cash through banking channel to Nepal.

Similarly, users can exchange 16 foreign currencies through the pre-paid card issued by Laxmi Bank.
