KATHMANDU: Laxmi Bank has added two more branches in the mid-western region of the country, at Chaurjahari (Rukum) and Khalanga (Jajarkot). The bank now has 52 branches, including seven in mid-west, three extension counters and 71 ATMs across the country. “Although providing reliable banking services is challenging in such rural areas, especially due to weak infrastructure, we believe that both the markets offer long term prospects and are strategic fit to our goal of expanding our retail business and footprint,” reads a media release. The bank will offer a full range of personal, small business and microfinance solutions through these branches.
