Laxmi celebrates 44th year of establishment

Kathmandu, December 21

Laxmi Group celebrated the 44th year of its establishment today by organising several social programmes.

A blood donation programme was organised at its head office in Pokhara and corporate office in Kathmandu, where 107 people from Pokhara and 69 people from Kathmandu donated blood. Each blood donor was awarded with a certificate of appreciation and a merchandise cup from the Laxmi Group, as per a media release.

Likewise, Laxmi Intercontinental, the sole authorised distributor of Hyundai motors for Nepal, organised temple cleaning programme on the premises of Budhanilkantha Temple and Bhadrakali Temple.

Laxmi Group distributed school bags and organised different games and magic show for the children of SGCP Nepal, who are suffering from cerebral palsy. Also, Laxmi Group has handed over Rs 1.5 million to Cerebral Palsy for the qualitative treatment of children.

The sister concerns under Laxmi Group, Sujal Foods, Sujal Dairy, Jaya Packaging, Sujal Plastics, Laxmi Intercontinental and Jaima Intercontinental organised different programmes on the occasion of its Corporate Day.

Confectionery products were distributed to the children of Bal Mandir, Naxal through Sujal Foods.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd (LXIPL) and Bindawasini Religious Area Development Committee (BRADC) was signed for the construction of an escalator within the premises of Bindawasini Temple.
