Lemon bags 10 Flame Awards in Mumbai

Kathmandu, June 25

Lemon, the largest activation agency from Nepal, dominated the winning score at Flame Awards 2019 in Mumbai, India.

It bagged four gold, three silver and three bronze in various categories.

“This is a great win not just for Lemon but for Nepali advertising. It’s a great team effort by us and the client together,” a media release issued here today has quoted Ujjwal Shakya, the managing director of Lemon, as saying.

There were two other agencies that represented Nepal.

Of them, Outreach Nepal bagged the silver award for ‘Promotional Campaign of the Year’ and Creo Communications also bagged a silver for ‘Social Development and CSR Campaign of the Year’.

This prestigious event was hosted by Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) in Mumbai on June 21.

RMAI is an epic industry body representing both global corporates and marketing agencies. It is an excellent platform to collaborate and co-share best of the best rural marketing practices not only in India but also in Asia, the release says.

An expert jury comprised of 30 eminent members, who shortlisted these entries.

The grand jury deliberated for long before selecting the final nominations for each category from 300 entries.

Ernst & Young were the official tabulators for Flame Awards Asia.

“This is truly a remarkable achievement for Nepal. These awards not only put the agency on a pedestal, but also elevate the image of Nepal advertising in the region. This is also a motivation for the young, budding members of this advertising industry to look up and give their best since this award has confirmed that Nepal has broken boundaries of recognition,” the release states.
