KATHMANDU: LIC Nepal has introduced ‘JeevanAkshaya-I’ pension scheme targeting the age group of 40 to 75.

The scheme is the first in Nepal that offers pension from the very start, as per a press statement.

In this scheme, the insured would receive lifetime pension, while his or her wife will get 50 per cent of pension facility after the insured passes away.

The insurer can receive up to 11.77 per cent of the assured sum as pension.
