The Lifestyle Expo-2005 started today at Birendra International Convention Centre, New Baneswar, Kathma-ndu. The expo, which showcases everything from automobiles to home appliances to beauty products, began with Pancha Kanya cutting decorative ribbons. Organised by Global Exposition and Management Services (GEMS) in strategic partnership with Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd, the expo will last till September 27. “Nepalis’ biggest festival Dashain is around the corner and people have already started shopping for it. It will serve as a right destination for those who want to buy everything at a single place in a hassle-free manner,” said Khagendra Baral, director at GEMS. He added that the expo is aimed at showcasing the latest and quality products at a venue with special offers. The products being showcased at the expo include health appliances, boutique and fashion goods, daily consumer goods, toys and garments for kids, furniture and furnishing goods and handicrafts.
