Citizens’ Bank has new ATM

KATHMANDU: Citizens’ Bank International has started its new ATM counter from its branch at Kumaripati, Lalitpur. The bank now has eight ATM counters in the Kathmandu valley. In the fiscal year 2007-08, the bank has earned a profit of Rs 7.33 million, states a press release. It is also planning to add four more ATM counters outside the valley within this fiscal year, the bank claims. — HNS

Nabil organises blood donation

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Ltd organised a blood donation programme in association with TU teaching hospital on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. “With a view to gift life and to celebrate the anniversary, over 125 staff of the bank from all its point of representation in Kathmandu valley donated blood at the Bank’s Kantipath branch,” states a press release. — HNS

Union in HBL

KATHMANDU: A trade union has been formed at Himalayan Bank (HBL) for the development of employees. According to the Nepal Trade Union Act, Labour Act and other related laws, the Himalayan Bank Employees Union has been formed, states a press release. Kushal Kumar Dhakal is the president while Sunil Sharma, Abinash Acharya and Navaraj Joshi are vice-president, general secretary and secretary, it states. — HNS
