Nava Adarsha’s AGM

Bhaktapur: Nava Adarsha savings and cooperative, based at Madhyapur Thimi, concluded its second general assembly today. Cooperative chairman Jagat Bahadur Shrestha presented the annual report. The organization run by Adarsh Secondary School’s SLC Batch 2044 BS. The cooperative is in good growth mode. Division Cooperatives Office chief Bhagavan Thapa gave certificates of honour to the four best depositors.

Water crisis

DHADING: Chepang settlements are facing water shortage in the southern part of Dhading district. Lack of water sources has resulted in scarcity of drinking water at Mahadevsthan, a Chepang VDC. “For one vessel of water, we have to walk nearly three hours daily,” said Tek Bahadur Chepang, a local. He said the concerned authorities have been informed, but to no avail. Besides water problem, they are also reeling under food shortage.
