Makwanpur DDC, civic body to get more fund
HETAUNDA: District Development Committee, Makwanpur, and Hetauda municipality will get additional sum of capital donation from the government on the basis of minimum conditions and work execution this year.
Audit Officer at Makwanpur DDC, Rajendra Bhattarai said DDC and the municipality would get sums of Rs 16 million and Rs 10.03 million, respectively, under the local government and community development programmes. Local Development Ministry had evaluated the local bodies throughout the nation as per their performance on social mobilization, capacity building, planning preparation and implementation including others. Finance officer at Hetauda Municipality Shankar Prasad Upadhyay said the municipality got additional Rs 7.5 million securing fifth position.
