MANs 29th convention from Feb 4
KATHMANDU: Management Association of Nepal (MAN) is organizing its 29th convention and annual general meeting (AGM) on Thursday and Friday. Dr Dennis T L Sun, president of Asian Association of management Organization (AAMO) will be the guest of honour at the convention.
MAN will organize the first day as a business session with the presentation of four papers on contemporary issues. In the first session, DN Khurana of All India Management Association and Bangladeshi management expert
Sasma Taiphur will present papers on ‘Leadership and change management in South Asia’ while Nepali youth entrepreneurs Nirvan Kumar Chaudhary and Umang Bagaria will present papers on ‘Youth vision for prosperous Nepal’ in the second session.
Sudarshan Banerji and Ravi Kumar will present papers on the theme of innovation and change management. ‘Building corporate culture in Nepal’ is another paper to be presented in the MAN convention. People can participate in the seminars by paying a fee of Rs 4,000 while institutional fee is Rs 7,000.
This year, MAN’s theme paper is ‘Nepal’s WTO Compliance and Resulting Economic Gain: Critical Assessment’. It will
be presented by Ratnakar Adhikari and Purushottam Ojha. MAN will release
the management development scenario 2009 on
the second day allocated for the AGM.
