Mega gets licence

KATHMANDU: Mega Capital Markets Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mega Bank Nepal, has received the merchant banking licence from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Monday.

As per the company’s CEO Suday Kant Jha, Mega Capital shall provide various merchant banking services like issue management, underwriting, share dematerialisation, share registrar, portfolio management and corporate advisory services from its corporate office located at Saket Complex, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.

According to company’s Chairman Ishwar Bahadur Gurung, the company will duly come into operation in a few days with a formal opening ceremony.
