Mero Mobile slashes postpaid charges

Kathmandu, July 18:

Spice Nepal Pvt Ltd, operator of the Mero Mobile GSM services, has reduced the subscription cost of postpaid mobile phone connection.

The price of Mero Mobile postpaid subscription has been fixed at Rs 2000, which was earlier Rs 2500, states a press release issued here today by the company.

The new price of Rs 2000 is comprised of Rs 1000 ownership charge, Rs 500 activation charge and Rs 500 minimum deposit.

According to Spice Nepal — the private mobile operator that has been aggressively expanding its reach to the different parts of the country — the price has been dropped due

to the decrease in ownership charge in telecommunication facility by 33 per cent in the budget for the fiscal year 2007-08.

The Mero Mobile postpaid service includes some of the finest services of Mero Mobile that has improved by the time. Customer facilitation services like one-hour free talk time every month and no charges for STD calls — available in both postpaid and prepaid services —
