KATHMANDU: With an objective to utilise microfinance from livelihood financing to entrepreneurship development, like-minded group of microfinance practitioners are going to organise a microfinance member summit here on May 15 and 16. The microfinance member summit will focus on sharing of best practices and success stories, according to Shankarman Shrestha, chairman of the organising committee. The summit will also draw ideas to include the low income population who do not have access to financial services and tie up with some vocational and skill development institutions to support potential borrowers for embracing entrepreneurship.
