KATHMANDU: Micromax, an Indian brand, recently launched the Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 smartphone. The new offering is powered by Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system and comes equipped with 1.2GHz Quad Core processor.

The 4.8 HD Amoled screen adds to that extra joy of using the Canvas Sliver 5. It also has an 8 MP camera with Sony IMX219 sensor, 4P Largan lens and Blue Glass Filter. The 5 MP front facing camera is ideal for video calls and selfies. The Canvas Sliver 5 comes with an internal memory of 16GB. It also supports a RAM of 2GB. Its other features include 4G, Bluetooth and A-GPS. The phone is powered by a powerful 2000 mAh battery which allows eight hours of talk time on a single charge. It also has NXP smart power amplifier and Dirac HD sound.

To make life easier for the customer, the Canvas Sliver 5 comes with several pre-installed apps like Housing, App Centre, Scandid, Snapdeal and Newshunt, among others.
