KATHMANDU: Micromax, one of the leaders in the business of mobile devices in the Nepali market, has rolled out three new mobile devices — Micromax Bolt D200 mobile phone, Micromax Bolt Q335 and Micromax Canvas Nitro E311, as per a press statement issued on Wednesday. Micromax Canvas Nitro E311 has a powerful 1.4GHz Octacore processor along with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. It also has a five-inch HD IPS screen. It is equipped with 13MP auto focus primary camera and a 5MP FF front camera. The phone also supports 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It also has a powerful 2400 mAh battery and comes with a 7.5mm sleek form. Micromax Bolt Q335 smartphone comes with 4.5-inch FWVGA screen powered by 1.2GHz processor and runs on KitKat 4.4.2 operating system. The phone comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM that can be expanded up to 32GB. It is equipped with 5MP FF primary camera and 2MP front camera. It supports 3G, Bluetooth, wi-fi and USB connectivity. Micromax Bolt Q335 has a 1650 mAh battery. Meanwhile, Micromax Bolt D200 has 1.3GHz dual core processor. Equipped with 3.5-inch HVGA screen, it runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 operating system. It comes with 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM. It comes with 0.3MP rear camera (with LED flash) and a 0.3MP front camera. Bolt D200 offers 2G connectivity, along with Bluetooth and wi-fi. All three new mobile devices support dual SIM, the statement adds. Micromax Canvas Nitro E 311 mobile phone is priced at Rs 21,120; Micromax Bolt Q335 at Rs 8,470 and Micromax Bolt D200 at Rs 5,082. — HNS

US job growth rises

WASHINGTON: The US private sector hiring accelerated in June, payroll firm ADP said on Wednesday in a positive sign for the official jobs report this week. Businesses added 237,000 positions last month, up from 203,000 in May and the best level since December. Over half of the hiring came from small businesses, those with less than 50 employees. There was strength in construction, adding 19,000 jobs; professional and business employment, 61,000 positions; and trade, transportation and utilities, 50,0000 positions. — AFP

Jeep to expand

PARIS: Fiat Chrysler will invest $280 million to begin Jeep production in India through an expanded joint venture with Tata Motors, the carmaker said on Wednesday. Assembly of a first Jeep model will begin in the second quarter of 2017 at Fiat’s plant in the western state of Maharashtra, Fiat Chrysler said in a statement.  — Reuters
