MAW hands over Yamaha generators

KATHMANDU: Morang Auto Works (MAW) Enterprises Ltd, the authorised distributor of Yamaha Motor Co in Nepal, has handed over Yamaha generators to the Department of Health Services. Vishnu Kumar Agrawal, managing director of MAW, handed over generators to Shanta Bahadur Shrestha, secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), in the presence of State Minister for Health Mohammad Mustak, as per a statement issued on Tuesday. The handover was as per the agreement between MoHP and Yamaha Co Japan to provide emergency services to various quake affected areas. The generators will be distributed to Dhading Hospital, Gorkha Hospital, Jiri Hospital, Okhaldhunga Hospital, Methinkot Hospital in Kavre, Sindhupalchowk Hospital and Nuwakot Hospital as well as Dolakha Primary Health Centre. According to the company, altogether 10 generators of 5kV were handed over in the first lot and an additional 40 generators will be handed over within a month.
