Nabil Bank opens new ATM point

Nabil Bank Ltd has opened an automated teller machine (ATM) counter at Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The counter, which is the 12th ATM counter of Nabil Bank, is the first and till date only bank to operate an ATM in the historic heritage city of Bhaktapur. Nabil Bank continues to be a pioneer in the development of ATMs in Nepal with such points installed in Biratnagar, Dharan, Butwal, and now in Bhaktapur. Furthermore, it is the first bank to install an ATM in downtown Pokhara at Lakeside to open an ATM. In addition to these cities, Nabil Bank has eight ATMs within Kathmandu valley at Kantipath, Thamel, New Road, Pulchowk, Maharajgunj and Boudha, states a press release issued by the bank here today.

All Nabil ATMs accept the entire range of Visa and MasterCard issued from anywhere in the world. Thus providing tourists visiting Nepal, opportunity and convenience to draw cash from their card or accounts. Nabil Bank is committed to developing tourism in Bhaktapur and in this respect has been working in collaboration with Bhaktapur Tourism Development Committee for the past few years. The installation and operation of Nabil ATM is yet another step forward in the enhancement of this partnership, stated Anil Shah, chief executive officer at Nabil Bank. “Nabil is changing the way customers transact through its fully-integrated ATMs,” he added.
