Nabil Bank’s support

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank has provided food items, stationeries and goods of daily necessities worth Rs 115,000 to Baby Life Home, Kirtipur in association with Association of St Mary’s Alumnae Nepal (ASMAN).

As a part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility, the goods were handed over to Baby Life Home on Wednesday to distribute to the children residing there, as per a media release issued on Friday.

Baby Life Home is an HIV orphanage and works to provide food, shelter and education to the HIV- infected children. Till date, BLH is taking care of 23 children aged five to 18 years from various regions of Nepal and provides education for these children from their school Saphalta HIV Shikshya Sadan — the first school for HIV-infected children. Ramesh Prasad Lohani, deputy general manager of Nabil Bank, handed over the supported materials to Baby Life Home and expressed satisfaction on being a part of such a noble cause.
