KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank has been awarded a certificate of merit by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) under the ‘Private Sector Banks (including Cooperative Banks)’ category of its SAARC-level ‘SAFA Outstanding Annual Finance Disclosure and Organisational Transparency’ award. Dayaram Gopal Agrawal, a member of the board of directors of the bank, received the award during a ceremony held in Lahore, Pakistan, as per a media release issued on Wednesday. The awards are conferred on the basis of evaluation administered by SAFA’s Committee for improvement in transparency, accountability and governance of published annual reports of entities from South Asian countries.
