KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) — the national flag carrier — is in the third position in terms of carrying passengers from Nepal to various destinations and vice versa via air route.

According to a three-month data maintained by Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal Airlines carried 89,214 passengers in and out of Nepal between January and March.

The report shows that Jet Airways topped the chart, with 127,823 air passengers.

Similarly Qatar Airways stood second with 105,698 passengers.

As per TIA, nearly 1.1 million air travellers used the country’s only international airport in the review period.
