NARC organises workshop

Lalitpur, July 1:

Purna Prasad Manandhar, secretary at the ministry of agriculture and cooperatives, inaugurated the Sixth National Workshop on Animal Husbandry and Fishery organised by National Agriculture and Research Council (NARC). The workshop expects to informing farmers about the achievements of research conducted last year and to formulate strategies for research during the next fiscal year. Motivating youth for animal husbandry and fishery could play a vital role for poverty alleviation . More than 65 per cent Nepalis rely on agriculture, and animal husbandry and fisheries contribute 31 per cent of AGDP.
