CDBL’s shares
KATHMANDU: Ace Development Bank — the issue manager of City Development Bank Ltd (CDBL) — has allotted 600,000 unit of ordinary shares of the Pokhara-based development bank that has floated its Initial Public Offering (IPO) from February 2 to February 5. The Rs 100 per unit primary issue worth Rs 60 million was applied for 118,502 people for 16,844,567 shares. But 600,000 unit of shares were allotted to 26,053 applicants — including 26,053 staff.
Trainees endorsed
KATHMANDU: Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) and Kantipur Television in association with Shepherd College distributed certificates to trainees of Professional Advertising Training & Job Placement Programme on Friday. In the ceremony, different experts from the advertising industry along with Information and Communications Minister Shankar Pokharel were present. Most of the experts emphasised on the need for skilled manpower in advertising and implementation of Clean Feed.
SDBL’s India ATM
KATHMANDU: Siddartha Development Bank (SDBL) has started its ATM service in India also. SDBL’s customers can use the bank’s debit card service through Punjab National Bank’s 2,000 ATMs located all over India. Now SDBL’s ATM debit card holders do not need to carry cash while going to India, said the bank that has 15 branches. It has already floated Rs 2.45 billion worth loan and collected Rs 2.8 billion deposit.
