NIC gets ISO seal

KATHMANDU: NIC Bank was awarded with ISO 9001:2008 certification for the bank’s Quality System on Commercial Banking Activities. According to a statement, the bank is also the first commercial bank in Nepal to receive the earlier version of its Quality Management System standard of ISO 9001:2000 in the year 2006. This certification attests the ability of the bank to consistently provide quality products and services that meet customers’ requirements in line with international standards. The ISO certificate was awarded by URS Ltd, United Kingdom which also carries out an annual audit to keep a check on ongoing improvement and compliance with set standards.

‘Chisooo summer’

KATHMANDU: Keeping in mind the coming summer season, Chaudhary Group of industries is offering its new scheme of ‘Chisooo Summer’ refrigerators to its customers. Through this scheme, the company will reward its every CG refrigerator customer with a special pack of Rio juice. The scheme is being communicated with the theme “CG Refrigerators Rio le full, garmi mausam ma aba saddhai cool”. The scheme is available nationwide but only for a limited time period. Chaudhary Group, which has a history of dealing in electronics goods since 30 yrs, has been manufacturing CG products and marketing LG goods through its CG Electronics which successfully launched electronics goods under its umbrella. Currently CG brand manufactures and markets CG TV, refrigerator, DVD, AC, microwave oven, deep freezers, inverters, Iron, rice cookers and CDMA mobiles.
