JCB goes to Itahari

KATHMANDU: Morang Auto Works -- the sole authorised dealer of JCB India for Nepal -- opened its branch office with 3S facility (Sales, Service and Spares) in Itahari. Sunil Agrawal, MD of Eastern Engineering Works and Sandip Chachan, DGM of Morang Auto Works' Construction and Heavy Equipment Division, jointly inaugurated the office. The authorised re- seller for Itahari is M/s Eastern Engineering Works. JCB, the world's leading manufacturer in heavy equipment started business in Nepal in 2002. Within a short span of time, Morang Auto Works has sold more than 500 machines in Nepal. JCB is the highest selling brand in Nepal and is preferred by all contractors, brick industries, cement industries, crusher industries, plant hirers, hydropower and personnel involved in infrastructure building activities. MAW has branch offices in Butwal and Birgunj and head office in Kathmandu. Within two months, it will formally open a branch each in Pokhara and Dhangadhi.

Good Morning Milk

KATHMANDU: Newly-established Modern Dairy Industries Pvt Ltd has launched 'Good Morning Milk'. The dairy has started operations from its sophisticated plant located at Gundu, Bhaktapur, and aims to meet rising consumer demand for high quality milk and milk products. Ambey opens booking

SDBL opens branch

KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Development Bank Ltd (SDBL) opened its 14th branch at Putalisadak. Bank chairman Shekhar Aryal inaugurated the branch. The bank started its services in 2057 BS. It plans to open two more new branches within this fiscal year. The bank collected Rs 2.58 billion deposit and invested Rs 2.38 billion. It is also offering nine per cent interest on a daily balance on Unnati Bachat Yojna.
