Varun Beverages open

KATHMANDU: Varun Beverages (Nepal) Pvt Ltd, bottler of Pepsi Cola in Nepal, reopened on Sunday after a month-long closure. The company closed down from January 1 to 30 due to dispute between the Maoist-backed labour union All Nepal Industrial Labourer’s Association and the management. NIC Bank gives aid

PFC’s fifth anniv

KATHMANDU: To mark its fifth anniversary, Prabhu Finance Company Ltd is organising a district-level open poetry competition. According to a press statement, the programme will be organised for 10 days in 10 districts starting from February 1. Winners will get cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 for first, second and third places, respectively.
