NCC, TCC sign trade pact

Kathmandu, May 21:

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Thai Chamber of Commerce, with a view to promote bilateral trade, tourism and investment in the two countries. Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, head of Nepalis business delegation and president of NCC and Tawat Tyip in-Tsoi, vice-president of Thai Chamber of Commerce signed the pact on behalf of their respective organisations yesterday in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal Penchome Incharoensak was also present at the signing ceremony, states a press release issued here today by Nepal Chamber of Commerce.

On the occasion, envoy Incharoensak said the pact is an effective step towards promoting Nepal-Thailand trade.
