NCC, ASSOCHAM ink MoU

Kathmandu, September 17

Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote bilateral trade and economy, as well as social and cultural sectors of the two countries.

Presidents of NCC and ASSOCHAM had signed the MoU on the occasion of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s visit to India. Dahal’s four-day visit to the southern neighbour concludes on Sunday.

The MoU ceremony was held in the presence of Nepali Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak.

“The MoU will ease and promote export of Nepali goods to India and will also help increase more Indian investments and technology in Nepal,” NCC said in a press statement issued today.
