NCC, NCCIM sign pact

Kathmandu, November 6

Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM) signed a pact today to promote bilateral trade and investment in Kuala Lumpur today.

As per the agreement signed by Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Rajesh Kazi Shrestha and National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia President Datuk Wira Jalilah Baba both the chambers will support the investors of each other’s countries to establish ventures, as per a statement issued by NCC today.

Before the agreement was signed, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce  delegation and NCCIM office bearers discussed on the potential investment areas in Nepal.

During the interaction, NCC President Shrestha said that after the promulgation of the constitution in the country, Nepal has focused on improving the environment to set up businesses through reforms in regulatory and administrative front, the statement states.

He also highlighted that manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, mines, education and health sectors can be the potential investment areas for Malaysian investors in Nepal.
