First Agribusiness BootCamp in March-April

KATHMANDU: Nepal Entrepreneurs' Hub (NEHUB) has announced to organise first-of-its-kind Agribusiness BootCamp 2017 in March-April.

According to the organisers, the BootCamp is an intensive training/mentoring programme with an intention to promote agribusiness entrepreneurship and innovation in Nepal. The programme will help the participants learn business frameworks through critical thinking exercises.

"The BootCamp is a complete package that includes specialised talks, meetups, workshops, training and mentoring designed for existing enterprises and new ideas," the organisers added in a statement recently issued.

TotalĀ 25 businesses are expected to participate in the week-long event.

Among them, 20 growth-oriented agribusinesses would excel to the next level and receive one-on-one mentoring sessions in AgriBusiness Innovation Centre Nepal (ABIC-Nepal) to help them transform into growth-ready agribusinesses, the organisers informed.

At the end of the sessions, NEHUB will shortlist five participants following rigorous interviews and evaluations and financially help them make their ideas into reality, the organisers informed.
