Nepal participates in TTF
Kathmandu, September 4 :
To attract more Indian tourists, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from September 1-3.
The 51st TTF, inaugurated by Shri C D Patel, tourism minister of Gujarat, proved to be a good forum to interact with national and state tourism organisations, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels and resorts, transport operators, travel booking portals and manufacturers of travel products, states a press release issued here by NTB.
Nepali stall was a major attraction amongst the participating exhibitors in the fair showcasing an exciting range of pilgrimage and holiday packages for the Indian tourists. Three Nepali travel trade participants floated various customised lucrative packages during the fair.
The visitors inquired mainly about Pashupatinath, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Nepal, and holiday packages for the city tours and sight seeing.
As the Deepawali is approaching, Gujaratis are now planning for their holidays. Nepal’s participation in the fair, with exciting packages and offers, was effective in terms of attracting Gujarati outbound traveller to Nepal.
Earlier on the inaugural day of the fair, NTB organised a press meet. NTB officials and representatives of participating travel trade bodies responded the queries raised by the attending media.
Amravati Travels Pvt Ltd , Dolpa Treks Pvt Ltd, and China-South Asia Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd took part at the fair.
