KATHMANDU: On the occasion of the International Youth Day, Jagdamba Steels in partnership with Association of Youth Organisations Nepal (AYON) successfully concluded the felicitation ceremony of Nepali YuvaRatna, on Wednesday. On the occasion, hundreds of people assembled at Maitighar Mandala and marched to Dasarath Rangashala, as per the press release. The felicitation ceremony began at Dasarath Rangashala with participation of Minister of Youth and Sports, Purusottam Poudel as the chief guest. In the aftermath of the earthquake in April, Nepal witnessed a rise of everyday youth heroes who bounced back immediately to help others rise back from the rubbles. When Jagdamba Steels launched the CSR campaign called ‘Nepal is Steel Strong’ wherein the resilient steel saluting the resilient youth heroes of Nepal, nominations flooded from all across the country. FACTS, Research and Analytics, the official research and assessment partner verified the nominations and worked together with the jury to select 10 Nepali YuvaRatna whose contributions were beyond incredible. The 10 heroes who were honoured with the title of Nepali YuvaRatna are Dr Bishal Dhakal, Brabim Kumar KC, Jigme Sherpa, Nirnaya Shrestha, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Nishant Shrestha, Dr Sneedha Mainali, Inspector Laxman Bahadur Basnet, Max Dipesh Khatri and Major Prem Hamal.
