KATHMANDU: Diageo Plc, along with its official distributor, Global Trading Concern Pvt Ltd, has launched two new single malt whiskey: The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 years and 18 years old. Both these new variants are in addition to the current offerings of The Singleton of Glen Ord brand, as per a press statement issued on Wednesday. The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 years old is infused with hint of melon and summer citrus fruit, revealing firm waxy notes and rich floral aromas. It has 40 per cent alcohol by volume (ABV) and 70 cl bottle has been priced at Rs 6,900. Similarly, The Singleton of Glen Ord 18 years old is less spicy, more mature, slightly darker in colour, and deeper in flavour than the 12 years old. With 40 per cent ABV, a 70 cl bottle of The Singleton of Glen Ord 18 years old is priced at Rs 10,050.
