Morang Auto Works (MAW) — the distributors of Yamaha bikes, music, spares and generator sets in Nepal for more than a decade — has opened another Yamaha World at Kantipath today.

Takahiro Maeda, marketing director and executive vice-president of Yam-aha Motor India Pvt Ltd, inaugurated the world class showroom that will showcase all the Yamaha brand products like bikes, gensets, music, genuine spare parts, apparels, accessories, audio video system under one roof.

Maeda, on the occasion, said that the company is happy on its improving market situation in Nepal. “Nepali market has been more helpful and supportive, and we see a huge potential here,” he said.

The idea of such showrooms is to provide a comfortable environment to customers wh-ere they feel excited by the products and enjoy the fee-ling of other products from Yamaha under one roof, claims Yamaha adding that it represents style, youth, sporty look and technology.

“Currently, Yamaha claims somewhere between 23 per cent and 29 per cent of total market share in the bike segment.”
